What Age Really Means
November 3, 2007
This quote was from my coaching instructor Bill Turpin. It helps me just lighten up on the getting older part of midlife. Maybe it’ll give you a different perspective too.
Age is an issue of mind over matter.
If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter.

This is so true and makes me giggle. I find that since I started not to care about my age (which was a good 10 years ago), people keep guessing my age at a number that gets younger and younger most of the time. Interesting reverse psychology in motion here, too!
Barbara–
Sounds like when you lightened up on the issue of your age, age lightened up on you. That’s why everyone sees you as younger than your years. A change of mindset on age is probably more effective than the most expensive wrinkle cream. You may have just revolutionized the cosmetic industry!
