I&#039;m learning that dementia is a very selective condition--some memories gone forever, some forever there.  At one doctor&#039;s appointment, the neurologist asked my mom who the president was.  She said &quot;Well, I don&#039;t recall his name but he isn&#039;t very smart and got elected in a shady way.&quot; I remember it the same way and wish I could forget his name.</description>
