Can’t Remember What I Forgot

Posted on 11. Jun, 2008 by Karen in Misc

Ever feel like there’s not enough room in your brain to hold all the things you have to remember these days?  Well that’s me — and probably some of you.  I’ve often thought how I can’t remember what I forgot – now actually the title of a new book with all the latest info on memory or the lack thereof.

The author, Sue Halpern spoke recently about her book Can’t Remember What I Forgot .  Watch this 4 minute video that goes into more detail about our midlife fascination with and concern about memory loss.

And if you’re brave and really want to know, Halpern has some great resources on her website that allow you to test your own memory .  One thing’s for sure — this is a topic that Baby Boomers are going to demand more information on as we age.  So thanks to Halpern for giving us a head-start on getting in the know.

What did you forget to remember today?

I always want to say to the young folks, “I’ve forgotten more than YOU know”…..but then after rethinking the phrase, decide not to. Of course, I mean that I know far more than they ever will…

Beverly–I know what you mean–although the young folks probably don’t get it yet. But we know–one day they will. Here’s to remembering as much as possible!! Karen
